Over four trillion plastic bags are used world wide each year. Did you know it takes 1,000 years for a plastic bag to break down in a landfill and that over four percent of a landfill's volume is attributed to plastic bags? In addition, plastic shopping bags kill over two million birds a year. Now we can do something about this environmental problem by recycling those bags curbside or at our drop off centers. These bags will be used to make lumber for decking, fencing and even playground equipment.
