Greta Green, The Environmental Clown

Greta Green teaches the philosophy "Leave your kids a little more green." Greta is available for school programs, day care centers and organizations. Programs are 30 minutes to one hour presentations. Greta teaches the benefits of recycling, reusing materials, environmental stewardship and the hazards of household chemicals.

Educational Services

The Pulaski County Regional Solid Waste Management District places a high emphasis on Environmental Education. Working closely with the Recycling Division of the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ), other solid waste districts and governmental agencies, the District promotes education by holding teacher workshops, participating in area expositions and festivals, speaking engagements and classroom education programs.
