2008 looks like a pretty good year so far. We completed our regional needs assessment last year and have a lot of exciting recommendations that will improve the handling of the hundreds of thousands of tons of municipal solid waste (MSW) that is processed annually by our member jurisdictions. Most of these streamlining innovations call for an increased spirit of cooperation among the cities and the county in order to achieve the lofty goals we have set for ourselves. Stay tuned for more on this.
And thanks for recycling. John N. Roberts |
